Ok Marines, we seem to have tracked down the USCSS Phoenix. Now it's our job to find out why it's gone dark and what the hell's going on over there. Life support is minimal - nothing a sturdy Marine can't handle - so the ship must be running on reserve power.
The ship has hull damage, but it doesn't look like it's from combat, and there are no reports of pirates or UPP forces in this sector. Initial reports indicate that the damage is mostly confined to the communication and sensor arrays, but the source of the explosion is unknown.
Our scanners don't conclusively show signs of life, although there are weak readings throughout the ship. Despite the damage to the ship, we don't anticipate that there is any danger over there.Your primary objectives are to determine the status of MU/TH/UR, restart the reactor, and secure the bridge. Your secondary objective is to rescue any survivors, if anyone is still alive.
